Bonjour de France et Bienvenue a Mes Amusants!
Bonjour mes amis! A year and a half ago I traded
my keyboard for a cutting board and haven't looked back. Life has
been amazing ever since. Hard, hard, hard beyond description, painful,
humiliating, lonely, humbling, overwhelming and yet simultaneously
heart-warming, joyous, exhilarating... Advice is easy to give, but
following one's own is near impossible… I'd love nothing more than
to tell you all to throw caution to the wind and follow your heart
but we are all on our own journey, in our own time... So take your
e-ticket (anyone remember these from Disneyland 30-some years ago?)
and please join me on my culinary journey through France. You'll
have a front row seat in a French kitchen so fasten your aprons
and let's get cooking! Experience the highs and lows, the cuts and
burns, the rants and raves, the potatoes and pomme de terres, the
fish guts and real nuts... Please keep your notes coming! It is
what gets me through the days when I burn everything and cut my
fingers and the chef is yelling at me...and on and on... Merci et

UPDATE (Dec 2004): I have been
having FTP issues lately! My ISP is blaming my FTP software and
the FTP software is blaming my DNS company and since no one can
seem to figure out what is going on so...... “My Musings” have been
relocated to this thing called a “blog” which is some ridiculous
techie word for a newfangled web site called a web log. As long
as I can post my updates about life in France, they can call it
a pickle for all I care. Please click
